NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD EXCEPTIONAL PURCHASE CONTRACT FOR COMMUNITY CARE FOR THE ELDERLY LEAD AGENCY DESIGNATION IN JEFFERSON COUNTY

The Area Agency on Aging for North Florida, Inc. (hereinafter “AAANF”), noticed a Request for Proposal (“RFP”) for the Community Care for the Elderly Program Lead Agency Designation for Jefferson County on March 16, 2023.  Providers were required by the Proposal to submit completed RFPs no later than 4:00 p.m., Eastern Time on May 29, 2023.  

The AAANF, having only received one qualified bid package to obtain a Community Care for the Elderly Lead Agency Designation for Jefferson County, hereby provides notice that AAANF will institute Exceptional Purchase provisions to award a single source contract to Senior Citizens Council of Madison County.
