Notice of Intent to Award Exceptional Purchase

         The Area Agency on Aging for North Florida, Inc. (hereinafter “AAANF”) noticed a Request for Proposal (“RFP”) for Older Americans Act Titles IIIB- Supportive Services, C-1 – Congregate Meals and C-2 – Home Delivered Meals for Gulf County on March 16, 2023 (hereinafter the “Proposal”).  Providers were required by the Proposal to submit completed RFPs no later than 4:00 p.m., Eastern Time on May 29, 2023.   

            The AAANF, having only received one qualified bid package to deliver the aforementioned services under the Older Americans Act for Gulf County, hereby provides notice that AAANF will institute Exceptional Purchase provisions to award a single source contract to Liberty County Senior Citizens, Inc.
