Notice of Intent to Negotiate Exceptional Purchase
Contracts Pursuant to Section 287.012, Florida Statutes

The Area Agency on Aging for North Florida, Inc. (hereinafter "AAANF") noticed a Request for Information and Qualifications (RFI/Q) for Older Americans Act Programs

Title III-B – supportive services, and C-1 and C-2 – nutrition services in Washington County on Monday, November 11, 2025, pursuant to Section 287.057, Florida Statutes regarding Exceptional Purchases. Instructions regarding submission of responses to the RFI/Q indicated that:
Responses must be completed and uploaded into the Submittable Procurement
Portal no later than 3:00 P.M. (E.D.T) on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. Responses not submitted by this deadline will be considered “not interested” and not be eligible for review.
The submission deadline passed with only one complete response from a qualified entity received in accordance with the submission guidelines.
As a result of receiving only one qualified response, and verifying the eligibility of the respondent, a formal Request for Proposal will not be issued. It is the intent of the AAANF to negotiate and award a single source contract to Holmes County Council on Aging to serve as the designated Older Americans Act provider for Titles III-B, C-1, and C-2 in Washington County effective January 1, 2026.
